HFH is a featured cause at POW-MIA Remembrance Ceremony

There will be a Missing Man Table and Honors Ceremony which pays tribute to men and women from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard who were prisoners of war and those who are missing in action. The event will especially honor Ronald M. Mayercik, MIA, a resident of Edison, a graduate of Edison High School-Class of 1962, and a member of the St. James Episcopal Church. The Highroads Hogs Motorcycle organization will present a special motorcycle tribute to POWs-MIAs.

An Honor Guard and Soloist from the Lakehurst Naval Base, the Middlesex County Police and Fire Pipe and Drum Corp, Edison officials, and others will be in attendance.

The Church extends an open invitation to participate in the events on the Church grounds at 2136 Woodbridge Avenue, Edison, New Jersey 08818. Parking is in the rear of the Church. Rain or shine.

Take an hour or so out of your busy day on September 24th at 2:00 p.m. to remind POWs/MIAs and their families and friends that We Will Not Forget.

Since the Church also houses the Hands of Hope Food Pantry and the pantry is low on food items to help many families in need, we encourage everyone to bring a non-perishable food item to the event. Monetary donations for the Home Front Hearts organization will also be graciously accepted.
