- 2010 Basic Allowance for Housing Rates The Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) is based on geographic duty location, pay grade, and dependency status. The intent of BAH is to provide uniformed servicemembers accurate and equitable housing compensation based on housing costs in local civilian housing markets, and is payable when government quarters are not provided.

- Army One Source The Army OneSource online portal provides easy access to many services for families living far outside garrison borders. The AOS portal features articles, videos and resources in categories such as: programs and services, health care, housing, education, careers, and travel.
- Automated Housing Referral Network The Automated Housing Referral Network (AHRN.com) is sponsored by the Department of Defense and is designed to improve the process of securing available housing for relocating military members and their families.
- Homeowners' Assistance Program (HAP) The Department of Defense (DOD) is proud to offer the Homeowners Assistance Program (HAP) to eligible service members and federal civilian, including non-appropriated fund, employees. The program is authorized by law, and administered by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to assist eligible homeowners who face financial loss when selling their primary residence homes in areas where real estate values have declined because of a base closure or realignment announcement.
- Homes for Our Troops Homes for Our Troops is a national non-profit, non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries since September 11, 2001. They assist severely injured Servicemen and Servicewomen and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and coordinate the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently. The homes provided by Homes for Our Troops are given at NO COST to the Veterans we serve.
- Hope Now HOPE NOW is an alliance between counselors, mortgage companies, investors, and other mortgage market participants. This alliance will maximize outreach efforts to homeowners in distress to help them stay in their homes and will create a unified, coordinated plan to reach and help as many homeowners as possible. The members of this alliance recognize that by working together, they will be more effective than by working independently.
- HUD (Housing and Urban Development) Provides help for homeowners at risk for foreclosure and housing educational materials.
- HUD-VASH The Department of Housing and Urban Development and VA's Supported Housing (HUD-VASH) Program was designed to address the needs of the most vulnerable homeless Veterans. To be eligible for this program, Veterans must be VA Health Care eligible, homeless and need and participate in case management services in order to obtain and sustain permanent independent community housing.

Soldier On
Our work begins with getting homeless veterans off the streets. Our mission at Solider On is to offer a continuum of care that includes immediate and long-term housing, treatment and recovery for addiction, food, and clothing, as well as medical, counseling and job-related services.
- U.S. Vets U.S.VETS provides comprehensive services to the veterans we serve, including case management, employment assistance, job placement, counseling, as well as drug and alcohol free housing. At our facilities veterans progress through a seamless continuum of services designed to help them increase their level of responsibility and prepare them to live independently in the community.
- VA Loan Guaranty Program Mortgage loans backed by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) make home ownership more affordable for veterans, active-duty members, and some surviving spouses by protecting lenders from loss if the borrower fails to repay the loan. More than 90 percent of VA-guaranteed loans are made without a down payment.
