American Legion
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, war-time veterans organization, devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is a not-for-profit community-service organization which now numbers nearly 3 million members, men and women, in nearly 15,000 American Legion posts worldwide.

American Women Veterans
American Women Veterans Foundation strives to empower women from all branches of service with a continued sense of pride and service which enables them to reach their full potential and to contribute as they always have, in making America stronger. Through various programs and media American Women Veterans Foundation is working to develop a multi-pronged approach to help servicewomen, veterans and their families.

Community of Veterans
A joint effort of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) and the Ad Council, this site is designed as a resource to our nation’s newest Veterans. Comprising less than 1 percent of the population, Veterans face a myriad of challenges while feeling isolated and cut off from those to whom they can best relate – other Veterans. While addressing a range of topics, this site is ultimately a point of connection where Veterans are helping Veterans.

Daughters of World War II
The Daughters of World War II is a non-political volunteer women's service and educational organization dedicated to promoting patriotism and preserving this crucial cornerstone of America's and the world's history. Membership is open to daughters, granddaughters and family members of WWII veterans. The organization is also collecting memorabilia and hopes eventually to procure a place in the Texas Hall of State for permanent display space for these relics.

Student Veterans of America (SVA) is a coalition of student veterans groups from college campuses across the United States. Founded in January of 2008, SVA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that works to develop new student groups, coordinate between existing student groups, and advocate on behalf of student veterans at the local, state, and national level.

Vet Center Combat Call Center
1-877-WAR-VETS is an around the clock confidential call center where combat Veterans and their families can call to talk about their military experience or any other issue they are facing in their readjustment to civilian life. The staff is comprised of combat Veterans from several eras as well as families members of combat Veterans. This benefit is prepaid through the Veteran’s military service.
